History and Artist's Statement

Art and design is an integral part of Nancy's life. Award winning furniture designs, children's books and art are represented in her Gallery presentation. Nancy's perspectives and insites on art are attributed, in part, to her childhood memories and those images of her children as they were growing up. Creativity for Nancy is a lifestyle. It is expressions transformed into paintings, writing or furniture designs with a style that reflect originality and unique perspective.

Nancy grew up in Caldwell, Idaho, near Boise. As a girl, she loved riding her horse in the nearby Owyhee Mountains where she embraced the beauty of moss covered rock, fragrant sage and dramatic canyons. She loves the pine scented forests, and the cool, clear streams and lakes North of Boise. The outdoors is inspiration for her art reflecting her love of nature, its beauty, texture and color
